Organized Life
Past few weeks, I have been trying to re-arrange /consolidate /throw away /costs cut /organize few stuff that’s been bothering me. Research indicates that being organized can significantly improve productivity, enhance efficiency, reduce stress and bring peace of mind to your life. Here are few stuff that I achieved in last week.
• Consolidated my 5 years coins collection into cash, surprising it totaled into $94.00, Out of which I had to pay almost $8.00 to coin collection machine.
• Dumped three bags of old clothes, jackets and sweaters into a dumpster
• Got ride of news paper, magazines, sales coupons and all those boxes which come along with any new shopping
• Shredded all those Credit card application from Discover/Amex/Citi. However, Yesterday I started getting new ones again.
• Closed unwanted saving and checking bank accounts, which were sending me redundant monthly statements
• Categorized all documents into Bank Statement /Auto /Health Insurance /Receipts /Bills
• Cleaned my office cubicle
• Labeled the Audio CD’s with proper album & artist, so now I know which CD contains which songs.
• Signed up for Paper-less Billing.
There is still more room for improvement to get more organized…The way I like it!
