We were Three, but it still took us 1hr to float 500 feet away from the shore figuring out the technique’s of paddling.
It's really a Great example of Team Work.

Capital Beltway (I-495 and I-95)

This is my 4th visit to Capital Beltway area. I have always been cautious while driving on this interstate. You can easily find out a Non-Capital Beltway driver from his driving. The road is so curvy, wavy and narrow. On top of that, what makes it worst is the reckless driver in that area.
The Capital Beltway is the 64-mile-long Interstate freeway that encircles Washington, D.C. Also you will find the most confusing Interstate freeway network in the US. It has something to do with 95’s. Most Interstates are North-South or East-West bound but I-495 is all way bound.

Dekho Barish Ho Rahi Hai.

No it’s not a Seattle or London. It’s New York.
It's been raining from last 3 days and here is long weekend weather.
Since last 5yrs, I've been avoiding to buy an umbrella; thinking that Rainy season will go away.
But here in US, There is no particular season for the Rain. It took 5yrs for me understand that. Looks like I have to buy an umbrella; But you bet I am gonna lose it once I buy it.

What's Up in the Sky ?

Well, I knew that we could check the arrival/departure of flight on Net;
But it’s new finding for me that we can track the flight mile-by-mile and altitude-by-altitude.

I had always fun watching Flight Tracker inside Flight, but here it is a real time display of aircraft speed and altitude, as well as departure/arrival airports and times.

Oh by the way, if you promise to someone to pickup/drop off at JFK,
make sure you have at least 2hrs in your hand for LIE & BQE bumper to bumper traffic.

Drive thru Pharmacy

Now days, Visit to pharmacy is becoming more often.
Good thing is I can re-fill the prescription on automated phone & pickup at Drive thru.
Sad thing is after having insurance; I’ve to pay from my pocket as Insurance only allows 30 tablets per prescription that costs $18.79, which is lesser than $20 co-pay.
Policy says if prescription cost is less than co-pay, then I pay the full amount. Bingo!

Tuned into

I have one confession to make,
first time in life, I've paid for music and that is $5.99 for Socha Na Tha Audio CD.
After watching a movie, the songs were still poping up in my mind, sometime in mid-night,sometime in bathroom so finally I've decided to buy the CD.
All the 8 Tracks are amazing.
It starts with
1.Yara Rab - feels like I'm in Himachal Pradesh.
2.Zindagi - feels like I'm in Mumbai.
3.Abhi Abhi - feels like I'm in Goa.

Got a NetFlix !

Finally, I opened Netflix DVD account after thinking for 2-3 years that, do I really need to have Netflix account. Should I really spend $20 a month for DVD’s? but that day I easily gave my credit card # to 2 Weeks Free Trail period. When I reached home yesterday night, I see three DVD’s in mailbox
Day After Tomorrow, Sideways, Kill Bill 2.

Watched "Day After Tomorrow" from 11:00 pm to 01:00 am, Movie was Ok !
My wife liked it... sometime our tastes differ.
Only I couldn’t figure out how a man can walk from Philly to Lower Manhattan in such snow storm ? foget about how he could drive from DC to Philly.

Socha Na Tha

My Kind of movie!
After longtime, I realized I was laughing while watching a movie.
In The first half hour, I could recall all the things that happened with us.
Only difference was we said “Yes”.

Songs are simple, meaningful & touchy,
especially “Ek Ped Humne Pyar Ka Milke Lagaya Tha Kabhi”

and where can you find such simple and real dialogues like this
“Yaar, Tum Itna Bhaav Kyu Kha rahi ho !“
“Yaar, Tum Itna Bhaav Kyu de rahe ho !“

You might be wondering what other my kinds of movies are there
Well, you have Dil Chahata Hai, Ishq Vishk, Munabhai, Waisa bhi Hota Hai.

Waisa Bhi Hota Hai

On Sunday afternoon, happen to see this movie again. A second time.
and I am sure will see it again, b'coz of Arshad Varsi.
I love that seen, when Arshad gives speech in english infront of Gangu Baai.
and the song "Allah ke bande" has made special entry in my jukebox.
the acoustic guitar used in the song was simply amazing.

Incidentally Today, I read about this singer on rediff.

Wal-Mart set to enter India

I guess I've been waiting to hear this news from long time.
and here it is "Wal-Mart set to enter India".

Interesting thing is
The fact that foreign retailers can't set up wholly owned subsidiaries here in india raises an important question. Who will Wal-Mart tie up with? An existing retailer or a non-retailer? The company is being courted intensively.

Either way, when Wal-Mart comes in, it will profoundly impact the retail markets of India. The former employee expects the company to open at least 10 stores in its first phase here.

"Anything less than that will not be viable for them," he says.
