Days of 'Rang De Basanti'

The fever of 'Rang De Basanti' started from the first day I watched tailor, and since then I have been waiting for the release. First, it was 20th Jan then finally moved to 26th Jan.
By the release, I could hum all the song, thou my imagination was wrong about actual picturisation.

It is very difficult to grasp everything about this movie in One Watch,
no wonder you will see repeating audience in the theater including myself.

My personal favorite scene was when DJ talks about the life within campus & life outside
campus to Sue. That was the hard hitting fact of Life.

This was the most blogged Hindi Movie and why not, everyone wanted express their feelings into writting. Since Friday every 30 min, some blogger was writing a review about this movie on Blog search.

For Now, I am eagerly waiting for the DVD release, as It will be a Movie to treasure for all time.

Minar Palace on Rt.1 South

Finally, after trying out various Indian Restaurants in NJ;
We found a decent place for a lunch, where I wouldn’t mind going more oftenly.
The Restaurant is Minar Palace on Rt.1 South; They serve excellent north Indian, Indian-Chinese & Chat on weekend buffet which comes around $20 for two people. The service is good & atmosphere is nice. My favorite item was the dessert - Gajar Ka Halwa.

Navjot Singh Sidhu & his Sidhuisms

He came on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 Show & stole the show.
I think he is the guy who can make any tense situation lighter with his one-liner.
Navjot Singh Sidhu, Famous for his outspoken style & witticisms that have come to be known as "Sidhuisms".

When Farooque Sheikh, host of the talk show Jeena isi ka naam hai asked him
what he thinks of those who criticize his style of commentary

he said "The world is all about mind and matter; I don't mind and you don't matter."
What a great answer !

As long as I remember in the past, Sidhu was always quiet & shy; So what changed him so drastically ? he says “I found religion and meditation, my dear friend, that’s what changed.
It made me a stronger, more confident person and that’s why I am the way I am today.”

Well,That' s interesting to know.

Few of his funniest one-liners are

  • All that comes from a cow is not milk.
  • Anybody can pilot a ship when the sea is calm.
  • Age has been perfect fire extinguisher for flaming youth.
  • New Zealanders are like bicycles in a cycle stand - one falls down and the complete row will be down!
