08.08.08 - Summer Olympics

Last 07.07.07 It was this and this year its 2008 Summer Olympics. Coincidentally our TV's colors are washed out and we could only enjoy the opening ceremony in B&W.

The Classic at Wimbledon

After watching Wimbledon at every 4th July weekend, I lost interest in it. But when I switched on TV today and saw the final was about to end. I stayed for little while, just to witness the one of the greatest sports event in the history after this.

This was one of the classic battle between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer's five-year reign at Wimbledon. As the commentator said "Change of the guard at Wimbledon" after the 4 hours, 48 minutes of play - the longest men's final in Wimbledon history. A deserving win for Rafael Nadal.

ICC World Twenty20 - India vs Pakistan

I hope after this win, We don't have to wait for next 24 yrs for the another world cup. Certainly, This win is precious for the India and will be treasured for the years to come. For me, I am just making a note here.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2007

This is just to remind that, The ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 has started today. Another four years have passed on.

Even thou, I do not follow much these days, the website browsing and TV news does update you with the latests.

FRA or ITA ?

So, I am Betting on France for the 2006 World Cup.

Knowingly or Unknowingly, This world cup got interesting one, specially due to the Match Timing. I could watch few exciting matches between POR - ENG, FRA - BRA and the most exciting was ITA – GER where ITA scored 2 Goals in last 2 minutes.

Ultimately it all comes down on 1 Goal and few Penalty Kicks which makes and breaks dreams.

Another World Cup

Honestly Speaking, I am not a big sports fan; It never mattered to me who is playing against India in Cricket neither the Football World Cup.



What the World Cup event reminds me is that, the 4 yrs have passed on since the Last World Cup. As you grow older, you witness more and more such events and finally there will be your Last World cup.

I drove all Day.

Fun Part of Weekend was

Driving @ speed of 80-85 Mph. Who cares when you are the only person in Car.
Listening non-stop songs on those burned CD’s.
