India's Dilemma...Iran or US ?
The UN Summit is going on in the City, and Mr. Manhoman is in Manhattan.
While having lunch on the Park Ave, Two of my friends could glance at his Motorcade.
He is having a busy schedule, some of the items on his agenda are
- The on going Indo-Pak Peace process.(Which is failing to make even incremental progress)
- Meeting with top American CEOs
- United Nations Democracy Fund
- But most important and challenging task is balancing the relationship between Iran & US.
"Bush administration officials say, India must now choose who is the best partner
to meet its surging energy needs - Iran with its natural gas resources or the West with its
ability to help in developing Indian civilian nuclear power.
Administration officials have warned India that if it fails to cooperate on Iran, the civilian
nuclear energy agreement negotiated last summer could be rejected by Congress."
